Second Life
About a month ago, a friend got me interested in Second Life and I decided to give it a try. It is a lot like any other 3d world whether it’s for gaming or just hanging around. On my first day in there I found a night club (open 24/7) with live DJs that were playing some awesome tunes. Since I hadn’t been active lately I decided to go ahead and apply for a DJ position there just to keep my skills from dulling. I was lucky enough to get in and on the schedule for 5 nights a week. I have met many new friends in the last few weeks and found that a lot of people who come to this club love the type of trance I spin. Because of this, I decided to upload last night’s 2 hour set for everyone else to enjoy as well!
The name of the virtual club is ToonTopia and I currently spin there for 2 hours every Tuesday through Friday and Sunday nights starting at 11:00 PM US Pacific time (also used for the Second Life global clock). A bit of progress…
Well I just finished moving into my new place this weekend. I still have a while to go before I’m completely back on my feet, but until then I will periodically stream some live mixes via shoutcast. The sets will consist of some older tracks since I haven’t had much chance to update my collection recently, but they are still great tracks. Status Update
To everyone who follows this site:
I know I haven’t been putting anything new on the site for a while. Unfortunately that is due to my going through some hardships in life right now. Recently I have been receiving several emails about my site and when I plan to release new mixes. All I can do at the moment is assure you that I have no intentions of giving up on making new mixes and I will certainly release more as soon as I get back on my feet. So until then, I thank all of you for your interest and hope to have more for you in the future!
In the meantime, I’ll leave you with a mix I submitted for the Trancefix.nl Collab Mixset (Episode 4) back in November 2009. This is my original submission for the overall mix, not the entire thing. If you would like the track list or want to download the entire set, just click on that link.
